Over 73 years ago, we started as a credit union to serve professors and employees at Humboldt State College. Today, Compass CCU serves over 6,200 members and has assets in excess of $174 million. We truly exist to empower and support the financial growth of our members and the communities we serve. You’ll want to tell everyone you know that “There’s a great credit union near me that offers the same services as a bank — but with better service and rates!”

- If you live, work or worship in Humboldt, Del Norte, or Trinity County in CA, you can join.
- Family members can also join.
- The Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University) Foundation staff and members of the Forever Humboldt, Cal Poly Humboldt Association can all join.
Once a member, always a member. Even if you move, you are a Compass member for life!
Compass Community Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative association. Member accounts are fully insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA.
