Scholarship

Compass Community Credit Union will award three $1,500 scholarships to aid students in their quest for further education. Applications must be postmarked by April 27, 2026, or delivered to any branch no later than May 5, 2026. Winners will be notified by May 20, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Compass Community Credit Union member or have a parent/guardian who is a member of the credit union.
  • Attach a copy of the notification of acceptance from an accredited two-year, four-year or technical college. This scholarship is only for 2026 graduating high school seniors.
  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must complete application fully.
  • A copy of high school transcripts with your GPA, honors/AP classes.
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • A senior portrait (or similar photo) of the applicant that can be used for press release and social media purposes, if selected as a scholarship recipient.
  • 300-word essay “How the nominee has helped to further the “people helping people philosophy” that guide Credit Unions.
  • Compass family/staff do not qualify.
